New strategies in the care of resistance diabetic foot ulcers

Diabetic foot ulcers are a significant complication for patients with diabetes, often leading to severe outcomes. The high prevalence of resistant bacterial infections in these ulcers can delay the healing process. Research has indicated that, in addition to standard treatments, innovative strategies such as topical and oral probiotics, bacteriostatic and bioactive dressings, technologically advanced 'smart' dressings, and ۳D bioprinting can be effective in managing diabetic foot ulcers. This study aims to explore effective strategies to enhance the treatment of resistant diabetic foot ulcers.
