The Role of Tele-nursing in Improving Diabetes Care: A Narrative Review

Diabetes is one of the most significant chronic diseases, and its effective management requires continuous monitoring, patient education, and professional support. Tele-nursing, as an innovative method in managing diabetic patients, has demonstrated significant impacts in improving care. Evidence consistently supports telenursing's positive impact on various aspects of diabetes management: Treatment Adherence, Self-Care Behaviors, Metabolic Outcomes, and Quality of Life (QoL). Telenursing demonstrates great potential in managing T۲DM by addressing barriers to traditional care and empowering patients through education and remote monitoring.
