چکیده مقاله:
Supply chain management (SCM) plays a vital role in optimizing the performance of the construction industry as a holistic approach to managing processes and relationships between suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers. This paper examines the effects of supply chain management on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing quality in construction projects. In order to develop risk management development capabilities in buyer-supplier relationships, organizations need to acquire and use different skills and inter-organizational knowledge. The statistical population of this study includes ۱۵۰ managers and experts of three companies. The research, which was conducted in ۲۰۲۴, used a questionnaire. Also, since Cronbach's alpha value was calculated higher than ۰.۷, the validity of the questionnaires was confirmed. Due to the complexities in the construction industry, including fluctuations in raw material prices, delivery delays, and the need for coordination between different stakeholders, implementing effective SCM strategies can help reduce project time and increase customer satisfaction. The results show that an integrated and coordinated supply chain can lead to reducing waste, optimizing inventory, and improving communication between stakeholders. The results of this study showed that supply chain innovation has a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage, chain strength, and resilience. Also, supply chain resilience capability positively affects competitive advantage, and this capability moderates the positive relationship between supply chain innovation and competitive advantage. Finally, the findings of this paper show that the effective implementation of supply chain management strategies can lead to a reduction in project costs and time (by optimizing the process of procurement and distribution of goods, projects will be able to reduce public costs and delay times), increased quality and safety (choosing reliable suppliers and high-quality materials will improve the final quality of the project), Improving collaboration and communication (establishing effective communication between all stakeholders (contractors, suppliers, and
