Nowadays, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an integral part of the day-to-day operations of any Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) especially in E-businesses. While artificial intelligence applications are becoming ever more important in E-business operations, but there is a lack of research in this area to investigate whether and how E-business react to artificial intelligence. Thus to fill this gap, this research carry out the role of artificial intelligence adoption on the E-business in Iranian SMEs. The findings will contribute to a better understanding of the factors that promote E-business in SMEs and inform strategies for achieving sustainable growth. The results reveal the significance of the fit between artificial intelligence adoption and E-business in SMEs. This study provides the first empirical evidence regarding the E-business reaction to artificial intelligence in Iranian SMEs. It encourages future research to examine role of artificial intelligence in metaverse.
