An analysis of unsafe and defenseless spaces and properties in urban parks with the approach of investigating them in district ۳ of Isfahan city

Parks, as one of the important urban uses with the function of leisure, social recreation, are the daily reference point of many people, and if the design and construction of these spaces are not in accordance with the principles of urban planning and social security, they will simply become a focus for delinquency. Pathology of order and security in urban parks and trying to eliminate or minimize physical injuries that facilitate crime are among the most important necessities of modern urban development. This research is descriptive-analytical in terms of nature and method, and applied research in terms of purpose. In this research, the condition of each park in the studied area is examined and analyzed. In this regard, the questionnaire technique was used in the environment of EXCEL and SPSS software for analysis. The main goal of the current research is to evaluate the parks of the three cities of Isfahan with an emphasis on defenseless urban spaces. The results show that the parks on the outskirts of Zayandehroud are in good condition in terms of the eight investigated indicators, and Mushtaq Park is in the lowest condition in terms of the investigated indicators. Also, among the local and regional parks of the region, three parks in front of Haj Mirza House are in good condition in terms of the eight investigated indicators, and Kamal Park and Let Far are in the lowest condition in terms of the investigated indicators.
