چکیده مقاله:

This study explores the role of energy planning in sustainable architectural designs and its impact on enhancing the quality of life in modern cities. Given the environmental challenges caused by excessive energy consumption and climate change, sustainable designs and the adoption of renewable energy sources are proposed as effective solutions. Successful examples, such as sustainable architectural projects in Dubai, particularly Dubai Marina, highlight significant achievements in reducing energy consumption and improving living conditions. The primary objective of this research is to analyze how energy planning and sustainable design principles can contribute to reducing energy usage and enhancing the quality of urban life. The study underscores the growing necessity for innovative solutions to combat energy crises and climate change, particularly in large metropolitan areas, while emphasizing the importance of sustainable architecture in creating healthier living environments. A qualitative research methodology with an analytical-descriptive approach was employed. Data were gathered through case studies of sustainable architectural projects in Dubai, field observations, and reviews of reports and documents, which were then analyzed to derive insights. The findings demonstrate that integrating energy planning and sustainable architectural principles into urban projects can significantly reduce energy consumption, minimize environmental impacts, and improve residents’ quality of life. This study stresses the effectiveness of using renewable energy sources, green architectural designs, and natural ventilation systems as practical strategies to address energy and climate challenges in modern cities.
