چکیده مقاله:

China, situated within the seismically active Ring of Fire, has endured ۳,۸۲۱ earthquakes in the past decade, highlighting its vulnerability to these natural disasters. The spatial distribution of these events is not uniform, with certain regions experiencing higher seismicity due to the presence of active fault lines. Analysis of historical earthquake data suggests potential shifts in seismic patterns, necessitating ongoing research and refined hazard assessments. The impacts of these earthquakes are multifaceted, encompassing significant damage to critical infrastructure, including transportation networks, buildings, and energy grids. These events also result in substantial human and economic losses, impacting livelihoods, displacing populations, and hindering economic development. The Chinese government has implemented a comprehensive framework for disaster prevention and management, encompassing seismic hazard mapping, early warning systems, and emergency response protocols. However, the ۷.۳ magnitude earthquake that struck Southern Qinghai in ۲۰۲۱ serves as a stark reminder of the persistent seismic risks and the ongoing need for robust mitigation strategies and enhanced preparedness.
