This study identifies and analyzes the challenges and ethical considerations arising from the use of artificial intelligence in human resource management and attempts to provide a comprehensive framework for addressing these challenges. The research was conducted using thematic analysis and a qualitative paradigm. Data were collected from a systematic review of scientific literature and interviews with ۱۹ experts in the field of artificial intelligence and human resource management. Data analysis was conducted using initial coding and categorization of main and sub-themes. In total, ۴۷ initial codes identified were categorized into ۲ main themes (challenges and ethical considerations) and ۱۳ sub-themes. The findings showed that the main challenges include technical, social, cultural, psychological, and legal and organizational dimensions. Ethical considerations also focused on issues such as privacy, justice, transparency, and human dignity. The findings also indicated that for the responsible use of AI in human resource management, it is necessary to develop ethical and legal frameworks, train employees, eliminate algorithmic biases, and design explainable systems. These measures can increase the efficiency of organizations while preventing the negative consequences of this technology.
