The present investigation was conducted during ۲۰۱۳ growing seasons to study the effects of some physio-chemical soil properties on the AMF spore numbers and root colonization parameters. Besides, this research was also undertaken to elucidate the effects of season on AMF activity. Sampling was done at the outset and end of vegetation growth period. In each time five succulent trees (Fraxinus rotundifolia) were selected randomly. Soil samples were taken from the upper ۱۵ cm of soil. Roots were sampled at the same sites as soil samples. Average arbuscular mycorrhizal percent colonization and spore number were significantly different between the two seasons. The difference between average pH, phosphor, and potassium, on the treatments (spring and autumn) was significant. However, there was no significant difference between nitrogen, organic matter, and carbon in the treatments.
