چکیده مقاله:

The intersection of physical education (PE) and language acquisition is an intriguing area for academic exploration. This review article examines the contributions of physical education to learning the English language and enhancing translation competence. It begins with an overview of the dual objectives of physical education: promoting physical health and supporting cognitive development. Subsequently, the article explores existing literature which indicates that physical activity can enhance cognitive functions such as memory and attention, crucial for language learning and translation skills. Additionally, the use of games and sports in PE is shown to create a dynamic environment for language practice, providing authentic contexts for real-life communication. The discussion of various teaching methodologies highlights the potential for integrating language learning with physical activities. Finally, the findings suggest that the holistic approach of combining physical activity with language instruction yields positive outcomes for learners in English language proficiency and translation competence. This paper calls for further interdisciplinary research and practical applications within educational frameworks.
