چکیده مقاله:

Objective: This research investigates the effect on the brain (B.B.L) of the motivation of the science lesson in fifth grade elementary students. Considering the important role in the process, the purpose of this research is to show the effects of new educational methods on the quality and increase of students' growth. Methods: The research was conducted as a quasi-experiment using pre-test and post-test and includes control and experimental groups. The target population of this study was fifth grade female students in Birjand city in the academic year of ۱۴۰۲-۱۴۰۳. A sample of ۳۰ students were randomly divided into two groups of ۱۵. To measure motivation, Harter Motivation Questionnaire (HEMS) was used and the data were analyzed by covariance analysis. By changing the environmental factors affecting the brain, the researcher trained the experimental group in ۵ training sessions with a brain-centered approach, and in the sixth session, a post-test based on the Likert scale was conducted for both groups. Results: The results of covariance analysis show that before the intervention, there were differences between the groups and there is a statistically significant difference between the average motivation score of the experimental and control groups. Conclusion: The findings of this research can help teachers and educational planners to use more effective approaches in the country's education system and improve students' motivation and learning.
