چکیده مقاله:
In the present study, the concentrations of tow heavy metals (Pb, and Cd) in ۲۶ different of dried fruit, chipsand pasta samples of different brands (Orange,Mango,Pear,green apple,read apple,Banana,Normalmelon,Pineapple melon,Coconut,Lemon)were determined by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy afterwet digestion. Samples were collected from different stores in Baghdad market, Iraq. The averageconcentration of the selected metals in the analyzed samples were found to be in the range of ۰.۰۲۲۰-۰.۲۲۶۱for pasta,۰.۰۴۶۷-۰.۲۷۹۷ for chips,۰.۰۳۸۵-۰.۲۲۶۱ for dried fruit and all of this for (Cd) in mg/kg, and ۰.۰۰۹۰-۰.۰۱۶۷ for pasta,not detected-۰.۰۶۲۶ for chips,۰.۰۰۳۱-۰.۰۸۸ for dried fruit and all of this for (Pb)in mg/kg.The highest concentrations of Cd were found in chips and Pb were found in dried fruit. The concentrations ofthe highly toxic metals (Pb and Cd) in the all analyzed samples were found to be below or in good agreementwith the permissible limits set by different health organizations and of minerals in Iraqi Standards. Thecontamination of these products could be a significant source of consumer exposure to heavy metals whenthese products are a part of the live.
