چکیده مقاله:

Bilhar (Dorema aucheri) is a herbaceous, perennial, and self-pollinating plant from the Apiaceae family. This plant is native to Iran and grows in the early spring in the pastures and mountains of western Iran. Bilhar also has medicinal values. Due to the presence of flavonoids, it reduces blood pressure, triglycerides, and cholesterol, and acts as a pain reliever. The most important factor preventing seed germination is seed dormancy, which can alter the germination time by regulating the germination range and emphasizing the importance of dormancy-breaking factors, thus adjusting germination timing to favorable conditions. The lack of an embryo, the presence of incomplete embryos, and the existence of dormant embryos in the seeds are among the most significant factors of dormancy and reduced germination in the Apiaceae family. Therefore, morphological dormancy (MD) or morphophysiological dormancy (MPD) can be found in this family. The most important treatments to overcome seed dormancy issues in the Apiaceae family are moist stratification and the use of gibberellic acid.
