چکیده مقاله:

Considering the application of superalloys in the aerospace industry and gas turbinemanufacturing, in this study, the joining of Inconel ۷۱۸ by fiber laser welding process has beeninvestigated. The samples were welded by laser welding and with high entropy alloy filler metal withchemical composition ۱۷Co-۲۵Cu-۲۵Ni-۲۵Mn-۸Al in butt welding. Then, the samples weremicrostructurally examined by optical microscope, FESEM, element distribution by EDS analysis andmicrohardness. The weld microstructure consists of γ solid solution phase and columnar dendriticgrains near the base metal and consists of epitaxial grains towards the center of the weld. By examiningthe Vickers microhardness in the joint area, it was found that the hardness increased with distance fromthe base metal towards the center of the weld.
