چکیده مقاله:

Embryo biotechnology has become a crucial area in veterinary science, providing innovative methods for the conservation and reproduction of both domestic and wild feline species. The domestic cat (Felis catus) serves as an essential model for developing assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs) such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), embryo transfer (ET), and cryopreservation. These technologies not only advance our understanding of feline reproductive biology but also offer significant potential for preserving endangered feline species by promoting genetic diversity and population management. Despite these advancements, the application of embryo biotechnology in cats presents unique challenges. The reproductive physiology of cats, including induced ovulation and specific hormonal requirements, necessitates customized protocols for successful embryo development and implantation. Additionally, the limited availability of feline-specific culture media and the variability in response to ARTs highlight the need for ongoing research and optimization. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of embryo biotechnology in cats, emphasizing key achievements, ongoing challenges, and future directions. By synthesizing recent advancements and identifying areas for improvement, this review aims to contribute to the broader goal of enhancing reproductive success and genetic conservation in feline species
