چکیده مقاله:
Urban infrastructures, including green spaces, public transport, and accessible amenities, are foundational to urban life and are greatly influenced by policies that safeguard citizens' rights. This research investigates the vital role of non-ideological urban components in enhancing the quality of life within cities, specifically focusing on the neighborhoods of Nishapur, Iran. Employing a descriptive-analytical approach grounded in Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology, the study identifies neighborhoods such as Haftgel that foster healthy, sensory-rich environments. Data was collected using direct observation, in-depth interviews, and getting involved with the community in the traditional neighborhoods. The interactive interviews were conducted with older residents, where we asked open-ended questions to learn about their personal experiences related to their environment. To see how different beliefs affect the true nature of the city, structured observations were achieved in places like Sarvalayat and the city center. The analysis showed that the vitality of urban areas is contingent on the preservation and recognition of often-overlooked spaces that promote genuine community engagement and well-being. The findings emphasize the urgent need to nurture non-ideological elements in urban planning to create inclusive, thriving urban environments.
