In this study, Fe۳O۴/GO nanocomposites were prepared by a facile and fast hydrothermal methodto degrade tetracycline (TC) under visible light irradiation. The TC degradation rate of Fe۳O۴/GOis ۹۴.۱% at a TC concentration of ۵۰ ppm after ۷۵ minutes of irradiation, which is higher thanothers. Parameters for effective tetracycline (TC) removal, such as pH, initial TC concentration,and contact time, were investigated. The initial TC concentration of ۵۰ ppm, optimal for TCphotodegradation, was about ۳.۷ times higher than the TC concentration of ۱۵۰ ppm. The resultsshowed that the highest TC degradation rate occurs at a TC concentration of ۵۰ ppm (about۹۴.۱%).
