چکیده مقاله:

Residual stresses, which are created in composite structures during the curing process, are the main reasons for the parts’ distortions and warpage. In this research, these residual stresses and deformations in polymer-based laminated composites were simulated using viscoelastic structural relations. This model was implemented and validated using subroutines such as UMAT, UEXPAN, DISP, and USDFLD in ABAQUS software. Furthermore, for a laminated composite plate, the effects of the layup on residual stresses were investigated. The obtained results were compared to each other. The results show that in symmetrical layups, the effect of the arrangement of the layers, with constant angles, on the absolute value of the maximum and minimum normal residual stress in out of plane is negligible.
