The Internet of Things (IoT), recognized as one of the key enabling technologies for smart cities, generally refers to a network of intelligent objects embedded with sensing, computing, networking, and actuation capabilities, all of which enable Enables the collection and exchange of data. IoT devices are usually connected wirelessly to the network. However, security has become a key challenge for widespread IoT deployment: IoT data is inherently noisy due to environmental influences. To address the security problem in IoT, we propose a policy-based secure and reliable measurement scheme for IoT called true alerting, where the reliability of IoT data and devices is based on the reporting history and the context in which the data are collected using policy rules.
