چکیده مقاله:

The pancreas is a pear-shaped gland located in the innermost part of the abdomen, between the spine and the stomach. The function of the pancreas is to help regulate the body's blood sugar level and digest food. It is also responsible for the production of insulin and some other hormones in the body. Normally, cells divide to form new cells as needed by the body. Old cells die and new cells take their place. Sometimes this process is disrupted. In this case, new cells are formed without the need of the body or old cells do not die. Pancreatic cancer occurs in the tissues of the pancreas, which is a vital endocrine organ located behind the stomach. Pancreas plays an essential role in food digestion by producing enzymes needed by the body to break down fats, carbohydrates and proteins. The pancreas also plays a role in the production of two important hormones, glucagon and insulin. These hormones are responsible for controlling glucose (sugar) metabolism. Insulin helps cells metabolize glucose for energy, and glucagon helps raise glucose levels when they are low in the body. Because of the location of the pancreas, pancreatic cancer can be difficult to diagnose and is often diagnosed in more advanced stages of the disease. Pancreatic cancer is a type of cancer that starts in the pancreas. Diagnosing pancreatic cancer and its symptoms are very important. One of the most common types of pancreatic cancer is pancreatic adenocarcinoma
