The Philippines, an archipelago in Southeast Asia, is constantly exposed to large earthquakes due to its geographical location. This destructive natural phenomenon can cause significant damage to various types of structures. In this study, we have calculated the seismic hazard probability for one-story, four-story, and ten-story buildings. In the past, due to the lack of tools for measuring and recording earthquake magnitudes, a parameter called "earthquake intensity" was used to assess seismic hazard. Earthquake intensity is measured on various scales such as the Richter scale, Mercalli scale, and DYFI. With the advancement of technology and the development of ground motion recording instruments, more accurate parameters have been used for seismic hazard analysis. This paper analyzes the seismic hazard of the Philippines. By examining this issue, it is possible to estimate the level of potential earthquake hazard in the future based on its return period and structural period in different regions of the country, and to take the necessary preventive measures to reduce potential damage. Precise earthquake prediction is impossible, and we can only estimate the probability of its recurrence by studying its history. The probability of recurrence can be calculated with different percentages based on different return periods. In this study, we have considered a return period of ۲۴۷۵ years with a ۶۴% probability of occurrence.
