SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) is considered one of the key toolsin the strategic planning process. This method helps organizations gain a better understanding of theircurrent situation and enables them to outline more optimal pathways for the future. Strengths andweaknesses are viewed as internal factors of the organization, while opportunities and threats refer toexternal factors. By identifying strengths, an organization can leverage its advantages and enhance itscompetitive position in the market by strengthening these areas. Additionally, recognizing weaknesseshelps managers identify existing problems and propose suitable solutions to improve their currentsituation. On the other hand, analyzing opportunities and threats allows organizations to take advantageof existing opportunities by examining the external environment while also identifying and managingpotential threats. For example, they can make better decisions by analyzing market trends, economicand social changes, and competition. This analysis helps organizations respond to existing challengesand capitalize on opportunities through proper preparation and planning. Therefore, SWOT analysisserves as an effective management tool, not only clarifying the organization's status but also acting asa bridge between internal and external analysis, facilitating the decision-making process. Overall,utilizing SWOT analysis in strategic planning enables organizations to make better decisions with acomprehensive view of their circumstances and take steps toward achieving their overarching goals
