چکیده مقاله:

Turkey, a nation historically plagued by seismic activity, experienced a particularly active year in ۲۰۲۲. The country recorded a staggering ۲۰,۲۲۷ earthquakes, including six with magnitudes of ۵.۰ or greater. The most significant event, a ۶.۱-magnitude earthquake that struck Düzce on November ۲۳, ۲۰۲۲, caused substantial damage. This elevated seismic activity underscores Turkey's vulnerability to earthquakes and the urgent need for comprehensive preparedness measures. Statistical analysis of these events is crucial for identifying high-risk areas and informing effective mitigation strategies. By understanding the distribution of seismic energy release across the country, policymakers and communities can work together to reduce the impact of future earthquakes
