چکیده
Colon cancer is the most common type of cancer worldwide and one of the most important causes of death. With the widespread adoption of screening for most colon cancers in developed countries, the incidence and mortality of the disease have decreased in the focus population. Chemokines are chemotactic cytokines that coordinate the migration of immune cells throughout the body. The emerging role of chemokines may be important in helping to recruit T cells and various immune cells into the gastrointestinal tumor microenvironment. T cells, which act as the main agents of the adaptive immune system, have precise modes of chemotaxis and multipotent immune activities. In addition, the accumulation of T cells, which have a strong ability to recognize and destroy malignant cells and viral inflammatory cells, can release immune responses with the help of chemokines. Infiltration of cancer cells is defined using T cell subsets with a chemokine gene signature. Considering that chemokines and their receptors play an important role in cancer diseases, previous studies of colon cancer showed that the expression of CXCR۳ and CXCL۱۰ is associated with metastasis in many cancers, including colon cancer. Our statistics show an effective relationship between CD۸, CXCL۹ and CXCL۱۰, and the expression of CD۸, CXCL۹ and CXCL۱۰ is undoubtedly related to the survival of colon cancer patients. In support of these observations, CD۸+ T cells and Th۱-type chemokines play an important role in predicting the outcome of most patients. Therefore, the intelligent manipulation of targeted T cells using receptors and chemokine signals and directing and infiltrating them to the foci of cancer lesions may be a new strategy for the colon cancer. This abstract was performed within articles published at PubMed and Google Scholar until June ۲۰۲۴. The keywords were T cells, chemokines, immune system and colon cancer treatment. By searching these two databases, more than ۳۰ articles were reviewed and ۲۱ articles were excluded. As a result, ۹ articles were selected with the inclusion criteria.کلیدواژه ها
