Study on the performance of the green space education and consulting research center as a desirable policy on the empowerment of the urban community

Green space research, education and consulting centers in ۲۲ districts of Tehran are among the targeted centers in creating community empowerment in the goals of sustainable urban development, and this policy method was specially recognized by the Tehran Municipality Parks and Green Space Organization in ۲۰۱۵. These centers are equipped with educational classes, botanical laboratory, greenhouse, family farm. In line with maintaining and sharing the ۱۷ international sustainable development goals in the ۲۰۳۰ document, all the actions of these centers are designed as a comprehensive policy and as a successful performance in the development of green spaces, the participation of citizens, women, schools, and academics. youth and other organizations are responsible for providing services in Tehran Municipality. While examining various functions, this research has addressed the approach of youth empowerment issues with the focus on the resilience of sustainable development of the urban environment and has directed all the educational achievements and its evaluation criteria based on the ۱۱ law of global sustainable development, so that in the municipality of the ۱۷th region, the key measures in Empowerment of the youth leads to regeneration, mobility and maintenance of the green space has become the participation of the youth. Statistical studies showed that participatory developments in the municipality of Region ۱۷ are very favorable and ۸۶% of school education, ۶۸% of student research in the Plant protection laboratory, ۹۰% of youth participation in tree planting campaign, ۶۶% of young entrepreneurs have been obtained between ۲۰۱۹ and ۲۰۲۳. These results introduce the cultural, social and scientific achievements of the Municipal Research Center of Region ۱۷ in this successful policy.
