چکیده مقاله:

Breaking through IT technology has handily aided the growth of cognitive neuroscience for sports psychology. In as much as possible, researchers have advanced and extended their understanding of the approaches that work or the theoretical principles that everyone within the field of psychological practice seeks to hold or employ. Among the non-invasive advanced brain imaging techniques that are widely used in exercise and sports-related research, we can name functional magnetic resonance imaging, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and electroencephalography. The present research review will give a brief idea of the status-of-the-art of sports psychology and its supporting concepts namely action observation, motor cognition, motor imagery, and expertise.
