چکیده مقاله:

This study investigates the incorporation of three processes: the Recompression Supercritical CO۲ (sCO۲) cycle, the Ammonia-Water cycle, and a Water Desalination system, with the aim of improving both energy efficiency and water production. The Recompression supercritical carbon dioxide (sCO۲) cycle is chosen for its exceptional thermal efficiency and compact system design. On the other hand, the Ammonia-Water cycle is utilized because of its ability to operate efficiently at different temperature levels, which complements the sCO۲ cycle. The waste heat produced by these cycles is efficiently utilized to operate a water desalination unit, optimizing resource utilization. Extensive thermodynamic modeling and analysis were conducted to assess the efficiency of the integrated system. The results demonstrate a notable enhancement in thermal efficiency and freshwater production compared to independent systems. The study also examines the economic and environmental consequences, emphasizing the potential for sustainable and cost-efficient energy and water solutions. This comprehensive approach offers a hopeful solution for improving the feasibility of renewable energy systems and tackling the worldwide issue of water scarcity.
