Green’s Function for Circular Micro-Plates under eccentric load considering length scale effect

In this paper, a Green’s function is developed forbending analysis of micro-plate under an asymmetricload. The modified couple stress theory is utilized toconsider the length scale effect. The governingequilibrium equation for circular micro-plate undereccentric load is obtained. A new coordinate system isdefined to obtain a closed-form solution for deflection ofthe circular micro-plate under eccentric load. Accordingto the obtained results, by increasing the thickness of theplate, the size effect decreases.
