چکیده مقاله:

educational contexts, peer support has become increasingly important in developing collaborative learning networks. In such case, students are encouraged to interact with each other in order to learn, give help or emotional support, and improve the learning experience. It has also been shown in research done lately that, a part from learning benefits, peer emotional support fosters their social development as well as balancing their emotional state (Kumar & Singh, ۲۰۲۰; Topping, ۲۰۱۹).When it comes to the acquisition of any new language, working together with colleagues is of high importance. Learning a language, or even acquiring one, is a very social activity, and learners gain a lot from their interactions with each other as they work to apply language in real situations. Learning in a collaborative environment allows students to interact, share ideas, and get quick responses which would upgrade their language skills (Nakamura & Hasegawa, ۲۰۲۱) . Also interactions with peers can help with the anxiety and drive up motivation making the language acquisition process seem easier and more enjoyable (Dörnyei & Ushioda, ۲۰۲۱).The purpose of this article is to examine how peer support influences teenagers in their language reproductive skills, discover how interaction helps learning take place, and suggest practice guidelines for teachers who wish to introduce peer support in teaching vocabulary in foreign languages
