An overview of the religious education of children from the perspective of Islamin order to create their religious identity

The purpose of this research is to identify the discussion and investigation of religious education andits effect on children's personality and identity from the point of view of experts and researchers. Inthis research, while providing a brief definition of ethics and concepts of Islam, the foundations,principles and appropriate methods for moral education of children have been investigated.Collecting information was done by library method with Islamic texts. The results obtained are thatthe religious upbringing of children leads to the emergence of religious identity in them. This is dueto the fact that Islam is a way of life and a plan of life, and it can bring together all the existentialidentities of human beings around it with full competence. The influential factors in the religiouseducation of children, according to their importance, include the family, formal and informaleducation, and the media. Cultures that have a serious task.
