چکیده مقاله:
This Quasi experimental study explores the effect of digital story telling tool on EFL learners’speaking skills. In addition, it also examines the EFL learners’ attitudes about this application.For this objective ۲۴ participants were selected from a language institute through conveniencesampling. After the placement test, they randomly divided in two groups of ۱۲ members. First apre-test was administered to the participants of control and experimental group. The treatmentwas given to participants of experimental group, and the control group followed the usualinstitute method. The participants of experimental group produced five digital stories usingScratch during five weeks. At the end of the course, the posttest was given to both groups. Theresults revealed a significant difference between two groups. The participants of the experimentalgroup outperformed the participants of control group. According to the results of the attitudequestionnaire, the learners showed a positive attitude about using Scratch. The study utilizedboth qualitative and quantitative data. The findings showed that Scratch might be an enjoyableand helpful tool in learning English language and enhance EFL speaking skills. As a result, it canalso be beneficial for course designers and teachers to enhance their learners speaking withenjoyable environment
