A key issue in higher education is maintaining high quality while the definition of quality in higher education is to some extent complex; however, one of the indicators of quality in higher education is considering it from the perspectives of teachers and students. This study aims at reporting the result of the study that conducted to investigate the views of main stakeholders of the university of Applied Science and Technology, Karaj branch. Forty EFL students majored in English translation and ten teachers were recruited as participants from Karaj branch in this study and data was collected by an open-ended questionnaire and semi-structured interview. The results showed that both students and professors criticized the educational outcomes. In this study six important reasons were identified for the teacher’s dissatisfaction from this university (A) Students’ lack of basic knowledge when entering university due to easy admission and enrollment, (B) Heterogeneous classes (C) Curriculum content (D) Customer oriented view toward the students by officials of the university (E) The significance of degree attainment over knowledge for the students (F) Students’ lack of self-motivation; in addition, students criticized (A) The curriculum content and (B) Heterogeneity of classes.
