Interline Unified Power Quality Conditioner based on Single Stage Nine Switch Inverter

In this paper a novel interline unified power quality conditioner (IUPQC) based on single stage nine-switch inverter for low voltage applications is proposed. In compared toconventional structure, only nine switches and one capacitor for AC/DC/AC conversion have been employed. The reducednumber of switches in proposed IUPQC topology leads to low manufacturing cost and less switching loss. A proper control strategy has been employed to cover all functionalities neededIUPQC in different modes of operation. Simulation of system has been carried out and the results are illustrated, which show theperformance and suitability of the proposed Nine-Switch configuration for IUPQC
