چکیده مقاله:
Dyes are important pollutants that cause serious risks to humans, other animals, and living organisms. Therefore, removing them from industrial wastewater before discharge into the environment requires a lot of attention. In the present study, green iron nanoparticles were synthesized using Chamaemelum nobile plant leaf extract, which has a good potential for wastewater and groundwater treatment due to its high absorption capacity. The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficiency of Methylene Blue dye removal by green iron nanoparticles from aqueous solution. The appearance characteristics of green iron nanoparticles were studied and analyzed using a scanning electron microscope (SEM), and X-ray energy dispersive device (EDAX). Experiments were performed discontinuously with ۵۰ ml of dye solution with a concentration of ۵۰ mg/L on a laboratory scale. The effects of pH (۳-۱۱), adsorbent amount (۰.۱-۰.۹ g), contact time (۱۰-۵۰ min) and initial dye concentration (۱۰-۱۰۰ g) on dye removal efficiency were investigated. According to the SEM image, it can be seen that the nanoparticles are spherical in size and ۳۵-۶۵ nm in size. The results of the obtained tests showed that the dye removal efficiency increased with the amount of absorbent ۰.۵ and the contact time of ۳۰ minutes. The best pH for MB dye removal is ۹. According to the results of the experiments, green iron nanoparticles can be used as an effective and accessible absorbent to remove dyes from industrial wastewater
