Although there are numerous reports about temporal changesin semen quality from all over the world, debates still continue.In this article we have compared the semen quality of ۷۰۷ Iranianmale patients between ۱۹۹۰ to ۱۹۹۲ (group ۱) with ۱۱۰۸men from ۲۰۱۰ to ۲۰۱۲(group ۲). We showed despite increasedsperm concentration from ۸۴.۴۸ in group ۱ to ۹۵.۵۵ in group۲, sperm with normal morphology decreased significantly from۶۲.۲ to ۴۴.۴۴ %, grade A motility decreased significantly from۳۸.۶ to ۳۰.۶%, grade B motility increased significantly from۲۱.۳۴ to ۳۰.۳ % and grade C and D motile sperm remained constant.We also assessed the effect of age on semen parametersbetween ۲ groups. These results should be further evaluated bylarger sample groups in the future.
