چکیده مقاله:

The significance of recognizing damage patterns in structures following earthquakes and the impacton various aspects such as safety, response efforts, and seismic vulnerability models is emphasized.The development of frameworks and technologies for rapid post-earthquake structural damageinspection and condition assessment is discussed, highlighting the use of vibration-based and real-timeseismic damage assessment. The Applied Element Method (AEM) is introduced as a powerfulnumerical analysis technique for predicting structural behavior under extreme loading conditions,particularly seismic events. The article also explores the use of Extreme Loading Software (ELS) fornonlinear dynamic structural analysis and its impact on damage detection using the AEM. In thefollowing, with this method, a sample concrete structure has been analyzed and investigated. Byemploying computational method, the reduction in space and volume resulting from building damageand debris fall has been determined. Graphs illustrating these parameters have been generated duringthe analysis time.
