چکیده مقاله:

Polyurethanes are engineering polymers with special properties that are used in various industriessuch as construction, medicine, automobile, electronics, packaging, military, clothing, glue and resinindustries. The reason for their widespread use is due to the wide range of products made from them,such as types of foams, elastomers, plastics and thermoplastic elastomers. Their elastomers are usedin various industries, such as making roller covers, conveyor belts, and applications that require highwear resistance and impact resistance. The use of their elastomers in some applications requires thatwater does not penetrate them. Accordingly, in this research, hydrophobic silica nanoparticles havebeen used to improve the properties and non-absorption water of castable polyurethane elastomers
