چکیده مقاله:

This study explores the use of colored sticky traps and rolls in greenhouses as a sustainable alternativeto chemical pesticides. These traps attract specific insect pests by leveraging their natural affinity forcertain colors, effectively reducing pest populations without harmful environmental impacts. Byintegrating these traps into pest management strategies, greenhouse operators can decrease pesticideuse, enhance crop safety, and promote ecological balance. For this purpose, a specific area ofgreenhouse cultivation was selected in the cities of Varamin, Isfahan, Jiroft, Yazd, and Gorgan.Biological traps were used in these greenhouses as an alternative to conventional methods that solelyrely on agricultural pesticides. The findings suggest that adopting this method can significantlycontribute to sustainable agricultural practices, offering an effective solution for pest control whileminimizing chemical dependency
