چکیده مقاله:

Plastination is a pioneering technique that enables the preservation of diverse biological tissues oforganisms, finding widespread applications in the field of anatomy and related disciplines. Thisremarkable method yields stable, odorless, dry, and transparent plastinated specimens that can bemaintained at room temperature with minimal cost, without undergoing deterioration. Theplastination process involves a series of steps, commencing with tissue fixation, followed byimmersion in a polymeric resin, and concluding with forced impregnation, whereby the resinthoroughly permeates the tissue under pressure and is subsequently cured. In the present study, atransparent polyester resin, P۹۶, was employed. To date, two primary approaches have been utilized:sandwich sheet plastination and bulk plastination. This paper introduces a novel sheet plastinationtechnique that allows for the plastination of thin tissue layers, thereby making flexible specimens, reducing resin consumption, associated costs, and overall specimen weight. The authors havedesignated this innovative method as "leaf plastination".
