Human rights are moral principles or norms for certain standards of human behavior defined inUniversal Declaration of Human Rights and are regularly protected in municipal, regional andinternational law. Violence against women in all forms and manifestations is a violation of humanrights and fundamental rights and freedoms, including the right to health and integrity. Whilejustice systems and access to fair trials is another theme of importance. The focus of this article ifexamining the two aforementioned themes: violence against women and justice.
