چکیده مقاله:

Supply chain (SC) resilience is a very important topic for practitioners and academics because it is acompetitive weapon for companies to deal with disruptive SC risks. This research examines the impactof human resource management practices with high participation on SC flexibility from the perspectiveof ability-motivation-opportunity. Also, this research examines the relationship between SC flexibilitydimensions and operational performance. The proposed hypotheses were tested based on data collectedfrom ۲۰۶ Chinese manufacturers using structural equation modeling. These results showed thatemployee participation plays the most important role in improving supplier, consumer and internalflexibility. In addition, employee skills only facilitate internal and consumer flexibility, but do not havea significant effect on supplier flexibility. In contrast, employee incentives have no effect on SCflexibility dimension. It can also be seen that internal flexibility and consumer flexibility both havepositive effects on operational performance, while supplier flexibility has no significant effect. Thesefindings contribute to the literature and practice.
