چکیده مقاله:
Increasing environmental pollution, shortage of efcient energy conversion and storage devices and the depletion of fossil fuels have triggered the research community to look for advanced multifunctional materials suitable for diferent energy-related applications. Herein, we have discussed a novel and facile synthesis mechanism of such a carbon-based nanocomposite along with its energy and environmental applications. In this present work, nitrogen-doped carbon self-assembled into ordered mesoporous structure has been synthesized[۱].Despite tremendous progress in developing doped carbocatalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), the ORR activity of current metal-free carbocatalysts is still inferior to that of conventional Pt/C catalysts, especially in acidic media and neutral solution [۲]. Herein, We report Nitrogen doping porous Carbon Foam (NCF) catalyst for ORR in Alkaline media. NCF were synthesized through hydrothermal method. To further study synthetic catalyst, X-ray crystallography (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Raman spectrometry (Raman) and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) are used to investigate Crystallite size, Absorption spectra, Carbon structures and the surface morphologies respectively. The electrochemical characteristic of the carbon foam catalysts are investigated by Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV) and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) in O۲ saturated ۰.۱ M KOH solution.
