Synthesis and characterization of acid-base Ni(۰,II)/NaY /۳-Aminopropyltrimethoxysilan catalyst

Acid and base catalysts are important to various organic reactions, especially when some of reaction can be carried out by acid and base mechanism [۱,۲]. For this purpose, firstly Ni metal was introduced to NaY zeolite by various method including solid state ion exchange by microwave irradiation and aqueous ion exchange and reduction of Ni to zero. Then all samples was functionalized by ۳-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (APTES). Finally the samples were characterized by FT-IR and XRD ,SEM,EDX,BET methods.The result confirm that the presence of Ni in different form and APTES beside of NaY zeolite.
