چکیده مقاله:
Todays, mesoporous materials are used to deliver drugs, proteins, DNA and etc. [۱]. Silica nanoparticles are one of the best mesopores [۲], which can be synthesized by green and chemical methods. In this work, synthesis of silica nanoparticles is performed by both methods and will be compared from different functional and economical aspects. In green method, one of the most abundant plants scattered in Iran called horsetail plant is used for extraction of silica [۳]. After that, the plant silica from horsetail is purified by recirculation۱ method. In chemical method, tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) is used as a source of silica. In both methods, the silica is converted into mesoporous silica using surfactants such as CTAB [۴]. XRD, SEM and BET analyses are used to study the particle size and morphology of the material and prove the presence of mesopores. The XRD patterns of both mesoporous silica obtained from plant and chemical are consistent with each other and show the peaks related to the mesopore structure
