Synthesis and characterization of Faujasite/ZIF-۸ composite by one-pot method, use as catalyst for aldol condensation reaction

چکیده مقاله:
In this research work, we were able to composite Faujasite type zeolite and ZIF-۸ metal-organic framework using two mild different ways to improve chemical stability of ZIF-۸ .In these methods arrangement of introducing Zn and ۲-Methylimidazole as parent material to synthesis of ZIF-۸ to zeolite were changed. In addition, the composites were prepared at room temperature under green chemistry condition. The structure of Fauj/ZIF-۸ nanocomposites were confirmed by FT-IR, XRD, SEM, BET, MAP, TGA, NH۳-TPD and ICP analyzes after synthesis. The Fauj/ZIF-۸ nanocomposites with high acidity and micro-meso structure showed good stability. The two prepared composites were used as catalysts in the organic aldol condensation reaction of benzaldehyde derivatives ۲-X and ۴-X. The results of these catalytic applications show that the use of nanocomposites yields are above ۹۰% with good reusiblity under solvernt free condition for esterification and aldol condensation reactions.
