چکیده مقاله:

In Iran, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) has led to mortality of more than ۹۰%, with a rate of discharge of less than ۷%. The current study aims to examine heart massage, airway, and ventilation in advanced CPR skills. The type of research was randomized trial training. The research population included the nurses who worked in the Imam Khomeini Hospital, Arak. The inclusion criteria were having a bachelor of science in nursing or a higher degree and working in various parts. The research sample involved ۸۰ nurses who worked in various departments of Imam Khomeini hospital and eventually, after dropping off samples, ۷۰ people underwent educational intervention. The research tools include a demographic information questionnaire and a CPR quality control checklist. The desired intervention of this study was scenario-based CPR training in two virtual and face-to-face methods. The scores from the checklist were analyzed by SPSS software v. ۲۳.The results showed that prior to intervention, the average score of the heart massage was not a statistically significant difference in the studied groups. Also, there is not any statistically significant difference between the average scores of the heart massage of the studied groups after intervention. A month after intervention, there is not any statistically significant difference in the average score of the heart massage of the studied groups. There was no statistically significant difference between the average scores from the airway examination of studied groups a month after the intervention. Moreover, a month after intervention, the average score of adequate ventilation of studied groups, that is, virtual and face-to-face, did not have a significant statisticaldifference. The findings of this study show that scenario-based training (both virtual and face-to-face) is efficient in promoting advanced CPR skills of nurses, including heart massage, airway examination, and ventilation; it can cause educational training of nurses to be promoted.
