The present study aimed to evaluate Prospect from teachers and learners' perspectives. To do so, ۶۳ EFL leaners and ۳۲ EFL teachers were selected based on availability sampling. They completed a modified version of Demir and Ertas’s (۲۰۱۴) Eclectic Checklist for ELT Coursebook Evaluation. The results revealed that there was not any significant difference between EFL learners and teachers viewpoints on Prospect. In addition, it was observed that the teachers evaluated Prospect as appropriate in all of the areas. The EFL learners did so, except for the subscale of Layout and Physical Make-up of Prospect. The overall impression of both groups of participants toward Prospect was positive. The results could help EFL teachers to select an appropriate coursebook for EFL courses.
