چکیده مقاله:
Academic performance is one of the most important criteria in examining the ability of students to complete college education and reach the graduation stage. The purpose of this study was to analyze the mediator role of academic hope in the relationship between professional teaching ethics and academic performance in physical education students. Method: Study is applied and the research method was descriptive correlational (SEM). Statistical population of this study comprised all undergraduate and postgraduate students in Physical Education (۲۰۷ students) in mohaghegh Ardebil University, From among this population, by Using Morgan table and available sampling method, ۱۸۰ student were selected.. For data collection professional teaching ethics questionnaire, academic hope questionnaire and academic performance questionnaire was used. The content validity of the questionnaire was approved and realability of questionnaires Respectively ۰٫۸۸, ۰٫۸۵ and ۰٫۷۸ is obtained. Finding: The results of data analyze showed that professional teaching ethics on academic performance has a direct effect (۰٫۳۶), academic hope had a direct effect on academic performance (۰٫۴۷), professional teaching ethics had a direct effect on academic hope (۰٫۴۷), and professional teaching ethics had a indirect effect on academic performance Through the academic hope. Conclusion: Therefore, it can be concluded that professional teaching ethics and academic hope may be taken into account as one of the important factors on academic performance
