Electrocardiogram is one of the methods of measuring the electrical activity of the heart, which is measured by placing an electrode on the surface of the body. Doctors use observation tools to diagnose and identify heart diseases, which are performed by cardiologists on ECG signals. The development of wireless technology has increased rapidly due to its convenience and cost-effectiveness compared to wired applications, especially considering the advantages offered by wireless sensor network-based applications. Measuring the electrocardiogram (ECG) signal is an essential process for diagnosing heart diseases. The ECG signal contains a degree of information about the heart's function. In medical diagnosis and treatment systems, decision support systems develop ECG signal processing for use by physicians during medical examinations. In this study, a modular wireless ECG measurement and recording system was developed using a single board computer and electronic health sensor platform. In this modular designed system, after the ECG signal is first taken by electrodes from the body surface, it is filtered and converted into digital form. Then it is registered in the health database using Wi-Fi communication technology. Real-time access to ECG data is provided through the Internet using a developed web interface. The proposed remote monitoring system with meta-heuristic algorithms is at patients' homes. These are connected to a facility located in the hospital via an internet connection. The proposed wireless sensor network is built using a combination of ECG sensors, microcontrollers, network protocol. ECG signals are first sampled by a small portable device that each patient carries. Then the received signals are transmitted to the access point. The data is then sent over the Internet in real time to the hospital for analysis and/or storage. The benefits of this remote monitoring are extensive: patients can continue their normal lives, hospital costs are significantly reduced, and doctors can review the data on a single device.
