چکیده مقاله:

This study extensively explored the evolution of emotional and educational burnout in a diverse pool of high school students spanning a period of seven months. Through a thorough analysis of data gathered from distinct time periods, a multilevel growth model revealed notable discrepancies in the initial point and advancement of educational and emotional fatigue among students and class groups. Furthermore, the study brought attention to personal elements like depression, overwhelming responsibilities, anxiety, test anxiety, and parental support as significant influences on the initial onset of emotional exhaustion. These same factors were also identified as contributing factors to the decline of emotional burnout over time. The classroom setting revealed a strong link between baseline emotional weariness and academic pressure, as well as the influence of teacher autonomy support. Surprisingly, emotional exhaustion showed a negative correlation with higher levels of teacher autonomy support. These findings highlight the complex interplay between instructors, parents, and individual and environmental factors in shaping students' emotional and academic exhaustion. In an effort to combat academic burnout, school psychologists and counselors can utilize this valuable information as a basis for developing effective intervention strategies.
